Summer travel can be intense in some areas as the heat rises. Plan ahead and pay attention to the area that you will be traveling in to avoid getting caught unprepared. Remember to hike with a buddy, stay on the trails that are marked, remember to take breaks when necessary and stay hydrated.

When traveling to tribal lands, be sure you know what is and is not allowed such as photos, drawing or audio and video recording as permits may be required to do so. Respect the cultures you are visiting.

I have always enjoyed the Grand Canyon and surrounding areas and have spent much time there. I have lived in various cities throughout Arizona and love it, but the work is not there for me, sadly.
